Buffalo City Mission
Buffalo City Mission exists to meet the spiritual and practical needs of the poor through the demonstration of the love and preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Their vision is to restore hope to the homeless and hurting of Western New York, by providing emergency shelter and nourishing meals to thousands of homeless men, women and children. They believe Jesus calls them to open their arms wide as the need grows. They will continue to expand services and develop innovative programs as the complexities of homelessness change.
The Alliance Church of Cheektowaga
The Alliance Church of Cheektowaga is a new church plant of the Alliance, a world-wide protestant denomination. Our mission is to Reach the people of WNY with the Life-Changing message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; Build into the faith of those who are believers; Equip the Body of Christ so that they grow in their faith in healthy ways; Multiply leaders to be effective workers for the Kingdom; and Send those who are called into leadership positions.
YFC Queen City Farm
The vision of Queen City Farm is to bring together a diverse community of Christians, many living in Buffalo’s Cold Springs/Masten Park neighborhood, mutually supporting one another, and developing spiritual, economic, social and emotional wellbeing throughout the neighborhood. Since 2008, QCF has been growing vegetables to increase the availability of healthy, fresh, and affordable foods to children and families in the neighborhood. Crops are cultivated primarily on vacant land where homes once stood.
For over 30 years, Child & Family Services Haven House has been working to promote peace in the home. Haven House provides safe, confidential services for victims of domestic violence (DV) and their children. Through direct services and community education and outreach, we work to ensure that all relationships embrace the principles of peace, respect and equality.
P.A.T.H. People Against Trafficking Humans
PATH Inc. (People Against Trafficking Humans) is a faith based not-for-profit (501c3) organization with a mission to end human exploitation through education, prevention and restoration. We provide support services to women and youth who are at risk or have been affected by human trafficking at the Enrichment Center in Buffalo, NY.
Hearts for the Homeless
Hearts for the Homeless® is a mobile soup kitchen that feeds the poor and chronic homeless on the street. Characterized by a profound spiritual motivation. The program offers nourishing food, as well as clothing, pertinent information regarding area services, companionship and hope for the future.
Northtown Pregnancy Center
Northtown Pregnancy Center (NPC) is a non-profit organization that exists to provide compassion, information, and support to anyone facing an unplanned pregnancy. Our staff is here to listen and help you face your challenge with confidence and hope. We are committed to providing you with accurate information about pregnancy, fetal development, abortion procedures and risks, sexual health, lifestyle issues, and any related concerns.
SCORE specializes in custom short-term mission trips that partner with a long-term sustainable ministry. SCORE owns facilities in the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica. Missionaries are in place to begin ministry in Panama and Romania and we can facilitate trips to almost any country in the world.
For over 50 years, Operation Mobilization (OM) has been bringing the message of hope through Jesus Christ to men, women, and children around the world. Though we have over 6,800 volunteers and staff serving within the OM family of ministries in 118 nations, we have one thing in common — we love Jesus and we want others to have the opportunity to hear about Him.
